Armstrong Elementary School in Reston is undergoing a major renovation led by former student Jordan Short from FCPS. The project adds 27,000 sq ft, including new classrooms, offices, and a library, plus upgraded playgrounds and traffic areas. Funded by voter-approved bonds, construction continues through summer 2027 while the school remains open.
