South Valley School has just opened a new vocational training center with new tools for hands-on learning in the fields of culinary arts and hospitality. The school is starting a program called "Transition to Independence" that helps students learn how to live on their own and how to act professionally by working in the community. The campus has also added a new therapeutic garden where students can learn about nature and use their senses in a calm setting.
