Hubbard Middle School got national attention when it was named an AVID National Demonstration School for the third time in February 2026. A small number of schools in the country have this honor, which shows how strong the academic systems are on campus. Also, in March 2026, a teacher from the school was named the Tyler ISD District Secondary Teacher of the Year. This shows that the school is still doing a great job of teaching and leading students.
