The football field at Lamar Middle was officially renamed in tribute to Brad Dusek in late 2025. This accolade celebrated the legacy of Brad Dusek, a former Temple High athlete and professional football player. The renaming served as a lasting tribute to regional athletic achievements. The event attracted a substantial assembly of students, alumni, and community members who convened to commemorate Dusek's contributions both on and off the field.
