Being Updated
Andrea Daman was recently named Campus Educator of the Year at Westwood Terrace Elementary. This award shows how much she cares about her students' learning. The school is still making steady progress in academics, and the most recent tests showed that students were doing better. Fifth graders also took part in a Mars landing simulation through the school's Enrichment Academy, which helped them learn by doing. Also, the campus's dual language program still helps students become bilingual by the time they finish elementary school. Parents and staff are proud of these efforts, which show that the school cares about both academics and student growth.
