On September 10, 2025, Longfellow Middle School finished renovations on its campus and held a public ribbon-cutting ceremony. The improvements included new classrooms, science labs, and collaborative learning spaces, as well as a new athletic building with two gyms and a weight room, renovated locker rooms, and a new outdoor field for soccer and football. The improvements added more academic, athletic, and outdoor spaces to help students learn and have fun on campus.
