The SAISD competition on March 6, 2026, gave the Grand Champion Trophy to the Hot Wells Middle LOTC Drill Team. The team won first place in the Academic Test, Unarmed Drill, and Armed Drill categories at the event. The results showed how well the team did in a number of competitive divisions at the district-level competition.
