In January 2026, the Briscoe Middle eighth-grade boys basketball team won the District Middle School Boys Basketball Championship. During the middle school basketball season, the Briscoe Bengals beat other teams in their district to win the district title. The championship recognized how well the team did in district-level competition during the 2026 season.
