Canyon High School students did very well at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest recently. Many of the musicians got high marks for their performances. The ongoing "Bond 2022" projects are also helping the campus. For example, they are adding more career and technical education spaces to help students learn by doing in fields like health sciences and engineering. Also, the school's sports program is still doing well. The baseball and softball teams are using new, improved turf fields that are meant to make the experience more competitive for all student-athletes.
