The boys' track team at Thurgood Marshall High School has made history by winning three state titles in a row. This has helped the school keep its reputation for being a great place for athletes. The campus is currently working on improving its teaching methods for the 2025–2026 school year by adding new master tutorial schedules that will give each student the help they need. The Student Council is also still a major force on campus, running new community service projects and raising awareness about the environment in Missouri City.
