La Joya Palmview High School has made it onto the 2025 AP School Honor Roll, a national honor for its success in making Advanced Placement classes more available to students. The school's dedication to the fine arts is still making history. Recently, a number of students made it to the Texas Folklife Big Squeeze State Accordion Finals. As part of a big investment in making the campus more modern for students, there will also soon be a new indoor LED video board.
