Being Updated
A lot of essays came in from all over the region, and students from San Jacinto Junior High School made it to the final round of the National Civics Bee. The contest was about civic issues like government, problems in the community, and getting people to care about them. You had to be able to write clearly, know a lot about the subject, and present your ideas well to get to the last stage. This gave students the chance to show off their school in a better way than other students.
