A student from Bush Elementary is among the competitors in the 39th annual Midland Reporter-Telegram Regional Spelling Bee set for Feb. 21 at Midland College, where local children will vie for a chance to advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Zaniyah Parker from Bush Elementary is listed with students from several schools across the region who will showcase their spelling skills in the event. The competition draws attention from families and educators as part of Midland’s community academic events this spring.
