Cooper Central Elementary School in Lubbock is known as the best-rated elementary school in Texas. Lubbock-Cooper Central Elementary opened an activity named School Read-A-Thon, where funds are collected for students' reading. For students who are spending in reading more than 15,700 minutes. The money was utilised for infrastructure for the library and to buy more books for every classroom. This helps students learn and get better at reading.
