Students from Atkins Middle School recently joined other Lubbock ISD campuses in district activities that brought together academics, athletics, and community participation. During the South Plains Special Olympics Unified Area Track Meet, students from several campuses gathered to compete in events such as the 100-meter dash and relay races, highlighting inclusive participation and school spirit. The event brought together athletes, teachers, and volunteers from across the district, giving students a chance to represent their schools while celebrating teamwork and achievement.
