Students from Marshall Durham Middle School helped clean up the neighborhood as part of the "Keep Lewisville Beautiful" campaign. Seventh- and eighth-graders worked together to clean up their neighborhoods, pick up trash, and make their communities better. Students were able to leave the classroom and do something good for the city. It also taught them how to work together as a group and how important it is to keep public places clean. Their participation shows that they care about their community and that students can help in other ways besides doing their homework.
