Recently, middle school students in the area got to see the creative projects made by students from United High School's Engineering and Technology Magnet. This was done to help future Longhorns come up with ideas. One of the teachers on campus was named the first Teacher of the Month for the 2025–2026 school year. This was a big deal for the school. The school also held the opening ceremony for the 10th Annual Exceptional Olympics in April 2026. At this event, students from all over the district showed off their school spirit and athletic skills.
