Trautmann Elementary heads into 2026 holding its position as the top-ranked elementary school among all 14 schools in this batch and one of the top 8% of schools statewide. The campus's teachers were recognized as part of UISD's 181-teacher TIA designation announcement in August 2025. UISD's partnership with Laredo College, signed in early 2026, creates an articulated post-secondary pathway that reflects the kind of district-level investment that flows down to campuses like Trautmann from the ground floor. Open enrollment for 2026-27 opened February 2nd.
