Joaquin Cigarroa Middle marked the opening of its newly constructed campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in December 2025. The new facility spans 250,000 square feet, and students moved into the building after the 2025 winter break. The transition completed a major campus facilities upgrade for the school community.
