Students at YES Prep Southeast Secondary are currently involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. For example, seven artists had their work displayed and honored in the Hayloft Gallery at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The school has recently added more specialized academic help through intensive spring tutorial sessions that are meant to boost students' confidence and core skills before state tests. Freshmen also took part in Ignite Career Week, where they learned about different career paths through hands-on activities like "Innovators Incubator" for STEM and "Healing Horizons" for health sciences.
