Being Updated
Under its "Opening Doors to a Bright Future" mission, Tijerina Elementary began the 2025–2026 school year with a renewed commitment to academic excellence. The school still has its popular "Reading with the Pros" events, which bring in professional athletes to get kids excited about reading. The campus is also actively encouraging families to join the Astros Youth Academy's spring league to promote good health and sportsmanship among students.
