The Taylor High School Mustangs made history by winning the school's first UIL 6A Division I Spirit Championship at the statewide finals in Fort Worth. In the fine arts, senior Isaac Martinez stood out by making it into the 2026 ATSSB All-State Band. This is something that less than 3% of students who auditioned for it across Texas were able to do. The campus is also in charge of a new "Bring Your Own Laptop" pilot program that works with an advanced virtual environment to make it easier for all students to use modern learning tools.
