Milne El is celebrating higher student proficiency rates in core subjects as part of the district's system-wide academic reforms this year. The school wants to make the environment a good one. They have recently started using new ways for students and teachers to talk to each other to make learning more fun. As they get ready for the 2026–2027 school year, leaders are still focused on keeping the standards high.
Q1. What are the student art displays called "Milne Masterpieces"?
Ans. "Milne Masterpieces" are monthly displays in the hallway that show off the best work from all grade level art classes.
Q2. Is there a program at Milne El for social and emotional growth?
Ans. Yes, Milne El includes social-emotional learning activities in the daily lessons to make the campus a better place for everyone.
Q3. What animal is the mascot for Milne El's students?
Ans. The Mustang is the Milne El mascot. It stands for the students' strength and determination in their academic and social lives.
Q4. Does Milne El have a program called "Breakfast in the Classroom"?
Ans. Yes, Milne El gives all of their students a free breakfast every day in their classrooms so they can start the day off right.
Q5. How often does Milne El have meetings with parents and teachers?
Ans. Milne El holds formal parent-teacher conferences twice a year, but parents can ask for more meetings to check on their child's progress.
