Houston's Middle College High School at HCC Gulfton will be known for its strong programs that prepare students for college and give them credit for both high school and college courses. The school helps students to get ready for college and for their future jobs by giving them one-on-one academic help and chances to go to college early.
Q1. Is it possible for HCC Gulfton students to get college credits while they're still in high school?
Ans. Yes, students can earn college credits by taking classes at both their high school and a college.
Q2. Does the school have any programs outside of class?
Ans. Yes, students can join clubs and do extra activities if they are available.
Q3. Does the school offer help with schoolwork?
Ans. Yes, students get help with planning their studies, getting ready for college, and choosing a career path.
Q4. Do students who are taking college classes get rides?
Ans. The partner college may be able to help with transportation options.
Q5. Do you offer internships or work-study programs?
Ans. HCC partnerships may give students access to internships or work-study programs.
