Being Updated
The "Big Kahuna" wildlife group made a special trip to Dr. Shirley J. Williamson Elementary School. The kids had a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see and touch animals from other parts of the world. Recently, the campus has been very focused on the students' physical health by starting new district-wide programs to get them to learn and play outside. The Texas Art Education Association's Youth Art Month in 2025 also honored creative students for their amazing themed and textured art.

Ans. The campus offers specialized music lessons, where students can learn to play different string instruments in the afternoon.
Q2. What is the official school mascot for Dr. Shirley J. Williamson Elementary School?
Ans. The Wildcat is the school mascot. It stands for the agility and fierce academic spirit of all the students who learn there.
Q3. Do all Dr. Shirley J. Williamson Elementary students have to have clear backpacks?
Ans. Students must now use clear or mesh backpacks to keep everyone on campus safe and secure.
