Barrick Elementary is happy to be a part of a district-wide effort to update the furniture and technology in the classrooms so that students can work together better. The school recently celebrated getting a "A" for how well its students were doing. This happened because the students and staff put in a lot of effort. Teachers keep making the classroom a safe place for kids to learn about their interests and strengths.
Q1. What meal programs will be available for all Barrick El students in the 2025–2026 school year?
Ans. The federally funded Community Eligibility Provision program gives all Barrick El students free breakfast and lunch every day.
Q2. Does Barrick El give special help to kids who have dyslexia or other reading problems?
Ans. Barrick El offers focused reading help and specialized dyslexia services to help students learn important reading skills.
Q3. What is the school color scheme and official mascot for Barrick El students and staff?
Ans. The Bear is the Barrick El mascot, and the school's main colors are forest green and white.
Q4. Are there any planned activities for the parent-teacher organization at Barrick El this spring?
Ans. The Barrick El PTO puts on seasonal festivals and fundraisers to help pay for improvements to the campus and programs that help students learn more.
Q5. Does Barrick El have a computer lab just for students or a 1.1 device ratio?
Ans. Barrick El makes sure that students can use technology by giving them sets of devices in the classroom and a separate computer lab.
