In 2026, the Houston Independent School District will roll out new academic programs that will help all of its schools, including Austin High School. One of the best parts is the new accelerated math pathway, which is meant to help high school students get ready for college and give them more chances to learn advanced material.

Ans. Yes, students can get help with their schoolwork and do other activities after school.

Ans. Yes, the school has a lot of different sports programs for students.

Ans. Yes, there are basic health services and a school nurse on campus.

Ans. Yes, students who meet the requirements can use the school bus.

Ans. Yes, students can join programs for student government and leadership.
