Arabic Immersion Magnet School is still the best school of its kind because it was the first public school to teach Arabic full-time. The school recently held a party to celebrate a successful cultural exchange program that brought students from all over the world together. Teachers who care about their students want to give them the best education possible, one that helps them do well in school and be a good citizen.
Q1. Do you need to know Arabic before you can go to Arabic Immersion Magnet School?
Ans. Students can join the program in Pre-K and Kindergarten even if they have never spoken a language before.
Q2. How do the teachers at Arabic Immersion Magnet School split up the language?
Ans. In all subjects, students spend half the day learning in Arabic and half the day learning in English.
Q3. Are there events at Arabic Immersion Magnet School that teach about other cultures?
Ans. Every year, the school has cultural nights where people from different Arabic-speaking countries and regions can enjoy traditional music, food, and dance.
Q4. What do teachers at Arabic Immersion Magnet School do to help students learn English?
Ans. The standard district curriculum for English language arts makes sure that students are good at both of their first languages.
Q5. Does Arabic Immersion Magnet School have language clubs after school?
Ans. Students can join special calligraphy and conversation clubs to improve their language and art skills even more.
