Being Updated
The One-Act Play team from Gutierrez Middle School recently won first place at a UIL competition for their performance of Flowers for Algernon. This means that the team has won first place for the third year in a row, which shows that they can keep doing well. Students practiced their lines, stage work, and overall presentation to get ready for the show. Some students also won awards for how well they did on their own. The award shows that students have been involved in the school's fine arts program for a long time and that they work hard on things they do outside of school.
