S T E P Detention has recently changed its educational model to make sure that students are always enrolled in high-quality instructional services, so there are no gaps in their learning while they are in short-term placement. The 2024 bond program is helping the program by giving it new technology and resources to make a supportive environment with high expectations for all students. In addition, new programs focus on building resilience and character through the core values of responsibility and mutual respect. This will help students do well in college or vocational school in the future.
Q1. What kinds of programs for careers are there?
Ans. Programs include skilled trades, healthcare, IT, culinary arts, and other paths that lead to jobs.
Q2. How does S T E P Detention keep things positive?
Ans. A safe and productive learning environment is built on respect, accountability, and inclusion.
Q3. Are there arts and creative programs at S T E P Detention?
Ans. Yes, students can take part in programs for visual arts, music, and performing arts.
Q4. Do students get help with standardized tests?
Ans. Yes. Yes, of course! The school has resources to help students get ready for the SAT and ACT tests.
Q5. Do they use traditional periods or block scheduling at S T E P Detention?
Ans. S T E P Detention has a traditional schedule with the same class rotations every day.
