Recently, Gunstream Elementary emphasized student learning through involvement in Frisco ISD-organized districtwide academic and artistic programs. In district art exhibitions and classroom projects that foster teamwork and critical thinking, students from the campus displayed their creativity. The school community also honored teachers who were honored through Teacher of the Year and District Teacher Appreciation programs.
