Lewis Elementary School took part in the Forney ISD's collaboration with BJ's Wholesale Club and the Forney Education Foundation during the 2025-26 school year. This partnership funneled resources toward student support initiatives throughout the district. Taylor Reynolds remained the coordinator of the school's esports program. With 805 students, Lewis is one of the district's larger elementary campuses and benefits from the district's investment in capacity and curriculum infrastructure tied to Forney ISD's TEA accountability record under superintendent Dr. Justin Terry.
