Andress High School students are doing great things with new technologies. For example, the esports team recently won the Texas Scholastic Esports Federation State Championship in Street Fighter 6. The P-TECH program, which lets students earn an Associate Degree in Education while still in high school, is helping the campus grow its academic offerings even more. Recent events also show how the school is a leader in mentoring, as a number of faculty members were named finalists for the 2026 District Teacher and Educational Support Personnel of the Year awards.
