On April 2, 2026, Jane Long Intermediate School held a Science and Math Parent Night. Students and their families came and did activities and watched demonstrations. Students did hands-on STEM activities, such as experiments like "elephant toothpaste" and other math and science tasks. Families came to see what the students had done and take part in the activities. Students also got STEM kits to use at home. There were teachers and staff there to help students and their families during the event.
