Brownsville Mayor John Cowen recently visited IDEA Sports Park College Preparatory to talk with students about how to get involved in their community and become leaders. The campus is also adding more career-focused programs, like a summer CTE program that lets students work directly toward their career goals. The school also recently gave out the Teacher and Co-Teacher of the Year awards to honor great teachers and co-teachers in the classroom.
