Recently, Brownsville Early College High School students were honored for their great critical thinking skills. They came in third place in the 2025 BISD Mock Trial District Competition. The Dancing Stars team from the campus also showed off their cultural pride this spring by wearing traditional clothes at the 2026 Charro Days Children's Parade. The school is getting ready for the May 2026 AP exam cycle as part of the district's larger goal of academic excellence. Last year, the district named more than 1,800 high-performing teachers, which was a record number.
