In Beaumont ISD, Curtis Elementary School recently opened a new sensory room to help students with different learning needs. The room is a quiet place where students can go to help them refocus during the school day. The project, which has support from local community groups, shows that more and more people are paying attention to student health and safe, welcoming learning spaces on campus.
Q1. Does Curtis Elementary School have programs for kids who are not yet in kindergarten?
Ans. Yes, the school offers pre-kindergarten as part of its early learning programs.
Q2. Do students have access to activities outside of class?
Ans. Students can join clubs, take part in academic programs, and do things at school.

Ans. Parents can talk to each other through meetings, emails, and school communication tools.
Q4. Is there a program for school meals?
Ans. Yes, students can get breakfast and lunch at school.
Q5. Does the school have a library or other media resources?
Ans. Yes, students can use a library or media center to read and get help with their studies.
