Recently, Sam Houston High School opened a new indoor practice facility that is a big addition to the campus. This gives student-athletes a state-of-the-art place to train all year round. The Health Science Academy at the school is having a bigger and bigger effect. Recently, a record number of students got their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Pharmacy Technician credentials. The campus is also celebrating being chosen as a host site for a big community literacy program.
