Students in Pre-K through fifth grade find a supportive and nurturing environment at Zachary Kolda Elementary School in Corpus Christi, Texas. Kolda Elementary received a ""B"" rating (80) from the Texas Education Agency for the 2024–2025 academic year, indicating outstanding academic growth and achievement.
A new policy requires all Pre-K through eighth-grade students to turn off and store their personal devices during the school day. This regulation lessens distractions in the classroom and motivates students to maintain their attention.
This school year, students must use clear backpacks for safety reasons. Lunch bags and small opaque pouches are allowed as long as they comply with the regulations.
