Being Updated
In recent times The Norman Public Schools board passed a number of policy changes in September 2025 that focused on student safety. These changes affected all schools in the district, including Eisenhower Elementary. Under the new rules, immigration enforcement agents (ICE) who come onto school grounds can only go into public areas and talk to district administration or lawyers. The board also made rules against discrimination stronger by requiring more reports and making it clear what will happen to staff who don't report child abuse. These types of project is happening because parents and community members wanted clearer protections and more open school security procedures for the kids. A Big Thank You to Eisenhower Teachers for All Their Hard Work In April 2025, Norman Public Schools held a "Celebration of Excellence" to honor the best teachers and staff from all the schools, including Eisenhower Elementary. The event showed how important the teachers are for making a caring, high-expectation space that helps students learn and grow in their future.
