See top schools in NormanDimensions Academy Elementary School is a public school for kids in grades K–8 in Norman, Oklahoma. Dimensions Academy has a traditional K-8 curriculum and a gifted and talented program that lets students learn in a more personalized way in a small school setting. The student body is fairly balanced by gender (49% female, 51% male), and about 65% of students come from low-income families, which shows a diverse socioeconomic mix. In math, 12% of students at Dimensions Academy scored at or above the proficient level on state tests. In reading/ELA, 22% did. These rates are lower than the averages for the state as a whole. In the Norman district, 34% of students are proficient in math and 33% are proficient in reading. In Oklahoma as a whole, about 26% are proficient in math and 25% are proficient in reading. The school gets money from the district and keeps class sizes small, even though exact amounts spent on each student are not made public. Dimensions Academy is not ranked among Oklahoma elementary schools, and it is ranked between #297 and #396 among Oklahoma middle schools based on how well students do on state-required tests and how ready they are for high school. People in the area know the school for its close-knit, supportive environment, which is helped by small class sizes and one-on-one attention.

We are so excited to announce the name of our new playground! Following a school-wide and Robinson community vote we narrowed a large list of names down to four. Since our students will be using the playground on a daily basis, we gave them the final vote! 476.....

Being Updated
Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, Dimensions Academy (all grades) will give all of its students free breakfast and lunch. This shows that Norman Public Schools is more committed than ever to the health and nutrition of its students. This is part of a bigger plan to expand the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a federal program that lets schools serve free meals to all students without having to fill out separate applications. District officials say that this change not only helps many families save money—up to $96 per month per child for meals—but it also makes sure that students get to school healthy and ready to learn. At the same time, Norman Public Schools made some important policy changes to make students safer. The school board agreed to new rules for dealing with child abuse, anti-Semitism, and discrimination. One important change makes it harder for ICE agents to be on school grounds. It makes it clear that if immigration officials do come to a campus, they can only be in public areas and talk to district administrators or legal counsel. These two changes—free meals for all students and stronger safety rules—are part of a larger effort by Norman Public Schools to protect the health and safety of all its students, including those at Dimensions Academy.
