Choffin Career and Technical Center unveiled a new Advanced Manufacturing Lab and officially launched its Advanced Manufacturing Program, offering students two-and-a-half-hour daily instruction in robotics, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC programming. The Wood Street campus received a $379,884 Super RAPIDS Grant from the Ohio Department of Higher Education to expand capacity and provide industry credentials for manufacturing careers. Choffin students in Music Production & Recording and Cosmetology programs participated in filming the music video “Black Inventors” by hip-hop artist Nova the Rebel in September 2025.
