On October 30, 2025, Chaney High School celebrated the completion of a new mural on the outside wall of the football stadium, funded by a donation from Dr. Tom and Betsy Brady and artist Dean Davis. Next Step 2025, which took place Oct. 14-16 at the Glass City Center on the Hazelwood Avenue campus, linked students with colleges, career tech programs and workforce opportunities. Chaney also continues to provide SAT and ACT preparation, career and technical education pathways and extracurriculars like the 105th Memorial Day program that was livestreamed to the community.
