Austintown Middle School students recently launched their annual weather balloon, with help from students in the Fitch STEM Pathway. The school’s STEM program, using Project Lead the Way curricula, also offers electives in modules such as Design and Modeling and Energy and the Environment. Middle school STEM students have also partnered on virtual design projects with other districts and display their work at community exhibitions.
