In February 2026, Toledo Technology Academy High School furthered its partnership with SSOE Group, placing two CAD and Automation/Controls students inside the firm’s headquarters for hands-on, immersive experience with integrated project delivery and modern modeling tools. Upton Avenue campus continues its award-winning engineering, alternative energy and mechatronics curriculum, with graduates earning industry credentials that prepare them for careers in advanced manufacturing and design. Students also launched a high altitude weather balloon in partnership with UToledo, NASA and NearSpace to study urban heat island effects using infrared sensors and GPS.
