Q1. Does Kenwood Elementary School provide technology to students?
Ans. Yes. Every student is provided with a device by the Springfield City School District. Students are expected to handle it responsibly. Families may be charged for any lost, broken, or damaged devices.
Q2. How should parents report a student’s absence at Kenwood Elementary School?
Ans. Parents or guardians must notify the school before the start of each day their child is absent—either by phone or with a written note delivered to the school.
Q3. When do students at Kenwood Elementary School receive academic progress reports?
Ans. All students receive an Interim Standards Report around the midpoint of each grading period. Additional reports may be issued if a student’s progress is unsatisfactory.
Q4. Does Kenwood Elementary School have a nurse or health clinic?
Ans. Yes. The school has a health clinic staffed with a nurse available daily. If a student feels ill, they can visit the nurse with a clinic pass from a staff member.
