McGuffey Elementary School is located at 130 Green Wave Drive in Newark, Ohio which serves students till fifth grade as part of the Newark City School District. The school has approximately 438 students and has a student-teacher ratio of 17:1 which creats a supportive and learning atmosphere. At Mcguffey Elementary School, 57% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 55% scored at or above that level for reading. The school enrolls 75% economically disadvantaged students that builds strong foundations for lifelong learning and active community involvement hence securing a place in the top desirable schools in Ohio.

We are so excited to announce the name of our new playground! Following a school-wide and Robinson community vote we narrowed a large list of names down to four. Since our students will be using the playground on a daily basis, we gave them the final vote! 476.....

Ans. Each student has access to a Chromebook or iPad for classroom learning. The devices are used for research, reading programs and math practice

Ans. The parents can pay online via PaySchools Central by using the child’s student ID.

Ans. The extracurricular activities offered are PTO meetings, family nights, and other school events.

Ans. School social workers assists the students and helps the parents by giving information about the available programs.

Ans. The updates and communications are shared through an app called ParentSquare for the parents to track their child’s progress
