Last week, music-based learning was spotlighted at Dan Emmett Elementary School with a “Paper Plate Skates and Sleigh Ride Smiles” activity. Students listened to Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride” and used movement patterns to explore musical form, instruments, rhythm, creativity and imagination in an active classroom setting. The school also posted spring events, including the Dan Emmett Elementary Spring Concert, and end-of-year reminders, giving families a clear picture of student activities and school year planning.
