Middletown City Schools will initiate a K-6 redistricting plan for the 2025-2026 school year, moving sixth-grade students from Highview Sixth-Grade Center to neighborhood schools in the district like Amanda Elementary. Amanda Elementary received the 2024 Momentum Award from the Ohio Department of Education for exceeding growth expectations as reported on the 2022-2023 state report card. In addition to being recognized on the state report card for exceeding growth expectations, Amanda Elementary’s P.E. teacher, Mr. Brad Fletcher, was announced as Teacher of the Year by the First Tee Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Chapter.
