Lorain High School’s Class of 2026 graduated May 23, 2026, with the highest graduation rate in 23 years. Principal Melissa Cheers and student speakers lauded the class for its resilience, academic achievements and strong community ties. The ceremony also honored 39 students who earned associate degrees from the Early College Academy. The district also processed requests for intra-district transfers and start-time schedule changes for safety and adequate staffing.
